Peterbuild Construction is a small but growing specialty construction company with a focus on finish work, specialty carpentry, and high end installation. Whether you have your custom casework already sourced out or are looking for the entire provision and installation package we can do it all. We have wonderful working relationships with high-end cabinet shops, millhouses, metal shops, glass providers and more. Consider Peterbuild for your next project! We currently serve an area from San Francisco to Healdsburg and inland throughout the wine country of Napa/Sonoma. We have cultivated a nice tight knit group of good carpenters as part of the foundation of our company.

Piotr  Kurowski, (Pete to all that know him)  The owner of Peterbuild Construction has spent his entire working life mastering the art of Finish carpentry and other areas of construction. Pete has built his company from the ground up with the reputation of being efficient, reliable and hard working. Every project shares the same goals: Finish work on schedule, be ethical in all dealings, strive for perfection in all we do.  Together with companies they he has sub-contracted for, several of the jobs that they have installed have been featured in Architectural Digest as well as having had the pleasure of working on many well known bay area projects, both commercial and residential. Respecting the privacy of our customers, references will be given by request only as discretion is of up most importance. Pete was born in Gdansk, Poland and came to the U.S. at the age of 11 with his father Marek Kurowski, and his mother and sisters, to settle in the SF Bay area. Raised by parents that taught him the value of a hard earned dollar, and that nothing in life comes effortlessly, his upbringing is reflected directly in his work.  Pete is a second generation craftsman having learned how to create things and honing his attention to detail from a very young age. Pete is honest, takes pride in everything he does, and holds himself to the highest level of accountability.  A perfectionist to the core, Pete believes in doing things right the first time around and has a reputation for being fair, straight forward, and thorough. Pete prefers working in the field to sitting at a desk and really enjoys the more challenging projects that get sent his way.

Pete is also a family man, now passing on his knowledge to his sons as his father has done for him and hoping they enjoy working with wood and their hands as much as he does.
